Pregnancy is an interesting experience

Normally pregnancy lasts 40 weeks from day one of the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP) to the actual delivery of the baby. It is divided into three stages, called trimesters:

First trimester:The first trimester is the time in between fertilization of the egg by the sperm (conception) and week 12 of a pregnancy. A woman’s body goes through many changes during the first 12 weeks of a pregnancy. The first trimester of pregnancy brings physical and emotional changes, from breast tenderness to anxiety and feeling of excitement.

Second trimester: The second trimester is from weeks 13 through week 28 of a pregnancy. You feel and look more pregnant During these weeks, you may also have more energy than you did in the first trimester. This will come as a great relief if you have been struggling with sickness, tiredness or anxiety about getting through the first trimester. Call your us if you experience any of these symptoms: nausea, vomiting, jaundice (yellowing of the whites of the eyes), extreme swelling, rapid weight gain

Third trimester: The third trimester is from 28 weeks through the 40th week of a pregnancy. In this trimester you may experience more aches, pain, and swelling as you carries around your baby in the.
